Eurogamer Offering LittleBigPlanet Beta Keys, Site Buckles Under Load

by Mike Bendel on September 23, 2008 @ 12:32 pm

European-based site Eurogamer has teamed up with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to give away 5,800 invite keys to the ongoing LittleBigPlanet beta. To score one, all you’ll have to do is register for an account and click the button on this page to receive your key. Easy enough, right? It’s harder than it sounds. As of writing the site is literally buckling under the load. Let’s just say you’re extremely lucky if any page has managed to load for you yet.

Good luck!

Yeah, I got a beta key as well :) Overall, the game truly delivers on all the hype it has received. Every single aspect feels VERY polished, especially the built-in level editor, which offers a mind-boggling amount of customization options. There's already a bunch of neat user-created levels popping up too. I can't even imagine how many there will be once the game officially launches. The replay value in this game is virtually endless.

btw, I added you to my friends list on PSN (x_sphere).
