Vigilante 8 Arcade Delayed

Uh-oh! Another XBLA title bites the dust, or rather gets pushed back due to failing Microsoft’s rigorous certification process. Independent developer Isopod Games recently revealed that its XBLA remake of vehicular combat title Vigilante 8 has been pushed back to an unspecified date.
Apparently, a “few obscure issues” were discovered in the initial submission, in addition to a bug in Microsoft’s own QNet library. That’s all been resolved now, though, and the game has been sent off to Activision for a quick QA check. Following that, the game will be sent over to Microsoft for the second and hopefully final time.
Considering how long Microsoft’s certification process usually takes, we can likely expect a release date estimate in a month or two.
