Project Origin Now F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

Following the announcement of Activision Blizzard’s intent to sell specific Sierra-owned properties and brands as part of an initiative to realign its product portfolio, developer Monolith Productions today revealed that it has reacquired the F.E.A.R. trademark from Activision.
This means that Project Origin, the sequel to 2005’s hit first-person shooter title F.E.A.R., will now be officially named as F.E.A.R. 2: Project Original. A move that will no doubt help bolster sales when the title hits store shelves later in February of next year.
