Activision and developer Treyarch today confirmed plans to launch an online multiplayer beta this October for the Xbox 360 and PC version of Call of Duty: World at War. Highlighting the all-new squad system, the beta will allow players to experience World at War’s Pacific and European theaters a full month before the game’s official release on November 11.

“We are excited to share a sneak peak of Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer with the community,” says Mark Lamia, Treyarch Studio Head. “The team has worked hard to build upon the great history and foundation of Call of Duty multiplayer and we can’t wait to go online to ramp up for our November launch.”

In order to be eligible to receive a beta token, you can simply register at the official Call of Duty website or pre-order World at War at GameStop.
