In continuing its business relationship with Koei, publisher Namco Bandai today announced Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, the sequel to last year’s mech-filled hack n’ slash. Slated for a 2009 multi-platform release on PlayStation 3, PS2 and Xbox 360, the game promises online multiplayer coupled with all-new story featuring mecha from the latest Gundam anime, as well as from Char’s Counter Attack. Development duties are being handled by Koei’s Omega Force team.

I think i'm probably the only one that will admit that i still play the first one til this day even though the Story modes were extremely short. Hopefully they fix that, and others plus the "original mode" even more with this sequal, because i know for sure i'll get this gundam game. Not just because there's "DW" elements to it, but the fact that it is based on Anime, and that the game has a really diffrent setting then that of the original DW and SW.

I wonder if Koei and Bandai would concider a "Warriors Orichi" in space and add the Gundam characters with DW &SW characters.... wait then the other characters would need their own robots etc etc.
