Capcom Considers Bringing More Western IPs To Wii

Are you a Wii owner not feeling the love from Capcom? Responding to a user post on the company’s official forums, corporate officer Christian Svensson revealed that Capcom is considering to bring “one or two” of its Western IPs to the Wii, namely Age of Booty, Dark Void, Flock and Street Fighter IV.
We are contemplating versions of one or two of the CEI titles you’ve mentioned on the Wii (not saying which), but we’d like to see how they do on their initial target systems before doubling down on additional SKUs.
Let’s see… out of the four, Flock seems like a good fit. In the game, players take control of a UFO that has been tasked with guiding a herd of sheep to its mothership. Although it’s being developed with HD consoles in mind, there’s no reason why visual quality couldn’t be sacrificed for a Wii release. Another, perhaps less likely possibility, is Street Fighter IV. The only reason we point this one out is because producer Yoshinori Ono mentioned that Capcom was considering to bring the title to other platforms in an interview last February, specifically pointing out the Wii.
So the Wii is missing out on 3 Bionic Commando games [Capcom]
