Another PS3 Laptop Attempt
by Mike Bendel on August 9, 2008 @ 7:46 pm

Inspired by the brilliant work of Ben Heckendorn, a console modder who goes under the online pseudonym of “Pirate” ripped apart his 80GB model PS3 and managed to transform it into the incredibly large laptop you see above. Key specs include a 17″ LCD HDTV monitor, built-in speakers, built-in SilenX cooling fans. All in all, it weighs in at 15 pounds and measures 16 x 10.5 x 4 inches when closed.
Nice attempt, although unlike Ben’s effort, it’d be a bit of a stretch to call this laptop portable — it’s huge!
