As promised earlier last month, Capcom producer Rey Jimenez has announced that the Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta update is now available. The update brings forth a number of optimizations and bug fixes, most notably a 50 percent increase in netcode performance, which means the online experience should feel smoother to those stuck with higher ping times. Additionally, frustrated players will be pleased to know that the bug causing random crashes when joining a match has been resolved.

To grab the update, simply launch SFIITHDR from your Xbox 360 dashboard and it will begin installing automatically.
