Elite announcement “legitimises” PS3 strategy, says Sony

SCEA’s Senior VP of Marketing, Peter Dille, has responded to the unveiling of Xbox 360 Elite, stating that Microsoft’s announcement not only legitimises their strategy for the PS3 (internal hard drive, HDMI output), but also moves them closer to adopting universal standards for the future of High Definition gaming.
