60GB Xbox 360 Spotted At Target

by Mike Bendel on July 28, 2008 @ 7:19 pm

Though not “officially” slated to pop up on store shelves until early August, the recently announced 60GB equipped Xbox 360 has already started to appear at select Target locations across New York City.

No word on which model motherboard these new 360 units are sporting yet, and we won’t know for sure until someone brave enough to void the warranty cracks theirs open — but Jasper seems likely, as it was rumored to roll out in August of this year. Unlike Falcon — the chipset currently shipping with majority of 20GB and 120GB 360s, Jasper is said to pack a 65nm GPU, further reducing heat output.
