Update: Resistance 2 Beta In September
by Mike Bendel on July 24, 2008 @ 9:57 am

Update: In a statement released today, Insomniac clarified that there will be “many” ways to get access into the beta, including a pre-order campaign. Additionally, there will be ways for PS3 owners living in regions outside of North America to get in the beta as well. Details have yet to be announced, but be rest assured that signing-up for Qore is not the only way.
While details are scant, those who are signed-up for Sony’s digital-based Qore magazine will receive an exclusive invite to a beta of Insomniac’s highly anticipated PS3 first-person shooter Resistance 2 in September.
It’s not yet known as to how invites will be given out — though we assume only those who have purchased an annual ($25) subscription to the service will be on the receiving end. Expect more details soon.
