Microsoft’s community manager Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has released a selection of new screenshots showing off custom themes in the redesigned dashboard interface, which is scheduled to hit the Xbox 360 later this fall as part of a free software update.

Looking good. Simple, clean, I like it. For the rest of the theme shots, hit up the jump.

Makes me feel bad for all the folks who have already paid 1-200c for current themes in the live marketplace (edit:/ apparently old themes will work still, even though they aren't designed specifically for this format - again, bring on the user created content to place on their own bloody systems instead of making people pay for such ridiculous themes.)
