PSN Title Rat Race Canned

According to Sony Worldwide Studios pres Shuhei Yoshida, Super-Ego Games’ Office-inspired PSN comedy title Rat Race has been canned. In explaining the reasoning behind the game’s cancellation to gaming blog Joystiq, Yoshida admitted that Sony was “not quite happy with how the game was turning out ” and that there was “some difficulty in development.”

Although the game seemed like a decent concept when it was first announced, later trailers showed just how banal and un-funny it was. Usually game cancellations aren’t met with enthusiasm, but we have to say that we’re really glad this one will never see the light of day.
