by Mike Bendel on July 15, 2008 @ 5:29 pm

French-based publisher Ubisoft today officially announced I Am Alive, an original “edgy new survival-adventure” due out on current-generation consoles in spring 2009. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Chicago, featuring gameplay that challenges players to “think, react and take risks that will directly affect themselves and those around them.”

Assassin’s Creed director Jade Raymond is heading the project. A trailer was shown at Ubisoft’s E3 conference, highlighting the game’s portrayal of human emotion and large-scale environments, which we’ve embedded above for your viewing.

Looks good. Something like this would probably make make a good movie also.

They did make a movie out of it...it's called I Am Legend. This game just screams to be a rip-off of that. It just obviously lacks the disease from the movie.

It just obviously lacks the whole plot from the movie, that's all :P
