Rumor: Firmware 2.41 Coming “Midweek”

According to a Future Publishing report citing Sony’s customer support line, a fix for the issues that a small number of PlayStation 3 owners were experiencing with the now-pulled 2.40 update will be released “midweek.”

We’re filing this under rumor for now, as Sony has not yet issued an official statement to the press or on its blog in regards to when the alleged fix will be out, but we would honestly be surprised if firmware 2.41 doesn’t hit this week.

I hope it does. That would be awesome since some of my friends don't have 2.40 yet.

@Kav32

Just google the 2.40 Firmware, some sites have it hosted so you can DL it directly to a USB device, then update it to your PS3.

I, also, doubt they'll released it sometime this week anyways.
