Developer Criterion Games today announced that the upcoming content-filled Cagney update for Burnout Paradise has been pushed back to hit the Xbox 360 on July 14. The PS3 version, however, is still on track for July 10.

Furthermore, Criterion noted that the launch Game Calendar events have been rescheduled and will not go live until both consoles receive the update. No reason for the delay was given, though we wouldn’t be surprised if it was due to a snag in Microsoft’s certification process.
