In an email sent to the press today, publisher Midway confirmed that its upcoming sandbox action title This Is Vegas will ship to retailers in 2009. In development at Surreal, Midway’s in-house Seattle-based studio, the title was originally slated for a fourth quarter release this year on Windows PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

To help ease the wait, Midway sent over three new screenshots from the title, depicting the sizzling neon-lit streets of Las Vegas.
