Mario and Donkey Kong

Some major announcements were made during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation. A lot of noteworthy titles are coming to the 3DS, so it’s understandable if you couldn’t keep track of a little downloadable title like Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move.

If you own a 3DS and did overlook the game during Nintendo’s video event, here’s hoping you start keeping tabs on it. Minis on the Move looks to revive the ages long tale of gaming’s famous plumber and resident tie-wearing ape. While we’ve seen plenty of these games on Nintendo handhelds already, this latest edition looks especially intriguing.

Minis on the Move features what appear to be some truly challenging, original, and unique puzzles. The game will include 180 stages, and if you’re the creative type, you’ll be able to build your own levels and share them with other players.

This upcoming puzzler will be available exclusively on the 3DS eShop. Watch out for it on May 9. I seriously thought I wouldn’t want to play another one of these games after spending so much time on past entries, but after seeing the Mini Marios in action, I don’t think I’ll be able to help myself.
