Duck Tales Remastered

Capcom today revealed that it was publishing DuckTales Remastered, a remake of the NES original that launched back in 1989. The game is being developed by WayForward, which has recently been responsible for A Boy and His Blob, Double Dragon Neon, and Mighty Switch Force.

Remastered will feature a number of modifications from the original DuckTales. The pixelated graphics have been revamped and will now be hand-drawn sprites. Voice actors from the cartoon series will also be heard in-game, and the soundtrack is being modernized accordingly. There’s also going to be an area called Scrooge McDuck’s Museum, where you’ll get to swim in piles of gold coins. Just like in real life!

If you were a fan of DuckTales, or if you’re looking to see what all the fuss was about, you may want to keep an eye on Remastered. The game will be available digitally on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and the Wii U eShop.
