Disney UK has announced that Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is being ported to the Vita. The news was revealed via Twitter, where the company expressed its enthusiasm about the game going the portable route.

Currently, this news is linked only to the European market. That said, Epic Mickey 2 is very likely to paint its way to North American Vita platforms. The question is: Do adopters of Sony’s handheld actually want to play this game?

Epic Mickey 2 is not a good game. In fact, it’s a mediocre game, and its sales and critical reception reflect that. Then there’s the whole deal with developer Junction Point closing down. If this is a last ditch effort to increase the overall sales of Epic Mickey 2, it’s actually kind of depressing.

I’ve constantly argued that the Vita needs more games. This sure as hell isn’t what I meant.
