It’s not every day that you wake up at 6:30 in the morning, check your phone, and come across an email telling you that Saints Row is back. That was exactly the case this morning as publisher Deep Silver, which acquired Volition after THQ went bankrupt, has revealed that it will release Saints Row 4 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on August 20 in North America. Also, the company called everyone “bitchez.”

Saints Row: The Third turned the series into a wild, surreal ride, and this next installment in the open world franchise looks to continue with the wonderfully absurd themes. As the leader of the Third Street Saints takes on the role of President of the United States, invading aliens zap the gang into an alternate simulation of Steelport.

Saints Row 4 will feature brand new attacks, a slew of new weapons, more mascots, and a bunch of nut shots. Also, that gun pictured above that makes people’s eyes get hilariously huge. Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that this game will be pretty damn crazy. Check out the trailer below.
