This week, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will receive some DLC that adds the new character Wallace Wells to the game and introduces online multiplayer. You can download the content starting tomorrow on the PlayStation Network for $4.99.

Producer Guillaume Gad revealed the news on the PlayStation Blog today, and he also announced that for two weeks, PlayStation Plus members would receive a 20 percent discount on the DLC. If after two years you’d like to jump back into Scott Pilgrim, this deal isn’t bad at all. That said, you could make the argument that online multiplayer should’ve been in the game right out of the gate.
