Tecmo Places Gag Order On Itagaki

In response to Tomonobu Itagaki’s suit against publisher Tecmo, the company hit the outspoken Ninja Gaiden director with a temporary injunction order on June 10, according to a Famitsu report.

Although he doesn’t officially leave until July 1, Itagaki is now prohibited from accepting interviews regarding Tecmo and is not allowed to speak with media figures about the company. The four bullet points of what he can and can’t do are listed below.

* He is not allowed to take confidential information outisde of the company.
* He is not allowed to talk about the business of the company or criticize the business of the company.
* He is not allowed to make inflammatory remarks which may hurt the company’s business.
* He is not allowed to talk about talk to the media regarding the company’s business.
