Runner2 - PSN

Last week, Gaijin Games launched Bit.Trip Presents… Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien on Xbox Live Arcade, the Wii U eShop, and Steam. This week, the game has landed on the PlayStation Network for $14.99, though PlayStation Plus subscribers can get the game for $11.99.

If you’ve been waiting to play Runner2 on your PlayStation 3, you can now do so, and I’d highly recommend taking advantage of the launch sale. Simply put, the game is awesome, and whether you’ve played past Bit.Trip games or not, this one’s certainly worth checking out and enjoying. In case you’re holding out for the Vita version, you’ll have to wait a a few more months as that game is due out this summer.

Runner2 has quickly become one of my favorite games this console generation. Its rhythm-based gameplay is wonderfully rewarding, and its challenge is never too punishing but always incredibly satisfying. Plus, the game is just fun to play, which is kind of an important factor considering they’re called video games.
