Metal Gear Rising Revengeance

It looks like Konami and Platinum Games had a pretty good turn out with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance during the game’s launch week in Japan. According to Destructoid, the hack-and-slash action game turned out a total of 335,791 copies. Not shabby at all.

No word on how well Revengeance fared in North America. That said, the game launched alongside Crysis 3 over here, meanwhile it was the only major release in Japan that week.

Raiden’s blood-fueled slash-gasm is a true spectacle to behold, with some solid gameplay and countless crazy moments. Here’s hoping Revengeance continues to slice its way up the sales charts, because it most certainly deserves to be played.
