Crytek Seeking PSP, DS Programmer

by Mike Bendel on June 15, 2008 @ 10:44 pm

Developer Crytek, responsible for the hit first-person shooters Crysis and Far Cry, is currently seeking a programmer with at least one years work experience on the PlayStation 2, PSP, or DS. According to the job posting, the chosen applicant will be required to relocate and work at the company’s studio based in Budapest, Hungary.

While it’s highly unlikely that Crytek is working on a new title for the PS2, a handheld offering from the studio is certainly a possibility. In layman’s terms, developing for PSP is similar to developing for the PS2. If they are in fact working on a handheld title, it makes sense to call out towards folks with PS2 experience.
