Diablo 3

Blizzard won’t require you to have a constant internet connection when you play Diablo 3 on the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4. You’ll be able to engage in local four-player and single-player without having to be connected to the PlayStation Network or Battle.net.

In addition to this rather positive news, which broke during an interview with GameTrailers, it seems that the console version of Diablo 3 will include some new features. Players will be able to utilize an evasive maneuver to get out of tough spots, and camera tweaks are coming to the game, as well.

Diablo 3 launched for PC and Mac last year. There were certainly several fans and critics, but the most bashed caveat was Blizzard’s requirement for players to have a constant Battle.net connection. The verdict is still out on the upcoming PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Diablo 3, but this is certainly good news.
