Gary Whitta has confirmed that Telltale Games’ take on The Walking Dead will live on, so to speak. Speaking to IGN, the series writer stated that there will indeed be a second season of the popular episodic adventure series. “I can tell you what you already know, which is season two is coming,” confirmed Whitta.

It’s interesting to note that there may very well be even more Walking Dead coming from Telltale before the start of season two. While details are scarce at the moment, Whitta expressed that there might just be something in the works to keep players busy before the second season gets rolling.

“There’s not much to say because it really is very early … it’s a way off,” explained Whitta. “But, knowing that it’s a way off, and knowing that people are hungry for more Walking Dead … there may very well be more Walking Dead from Telltale before season two. We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.”
