A Look at the DualShock 4

The only actual hardware that Sony showed off today was the DualShock 4. As you can see from above, the leaked dev kit pictures were quite accurate. The controller features a front-facing touchpad, straddled a share button on the left and what looks to be an “options” button on the right. Also featured is a built-in speaker and headphone jack to bring your gaming experience even closer than before.
In addition the controller will also feature an indicator light that will allow a kinect-like sensor to track the 3D movement of the controller. At this time it looks like the new sensor will only track the controllers movement and not the players. A picture of the new sensor can be seen below.
