It looks like there will be no more encores for Rock Band. Harmonix has announced that it will end the weekly rounds of DLC for its plastic instrument-based rhythm franchise next month.

For over five years, the developer has consistently released new music for Rock Band. This equals more than 4,000 songs, so you really have to hand it to Harmonix for keeping the band together for this long, so to speak.

Of course, you’ve still got a couple of weeks to enjoy some new tracks. Come April 2, however, the show will be over and the curtain will be lowered. It was a good run.
