Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the Twisted Metal Birthday Bundle. To commemorate the one-year anniversary of last year’s reboot, aptly titled Twisted Metal, four games from the franchise will be available to download on the PlayStation Network at a discounted price.

The original Twisted Metal, which launched for PlayStation back in 1995, is available on the PlayStation Network for the first time ever. Also added to the mix is Twisted Metal 2, which was released in 1996 and has become a fan favorite. Both of those car combat classics will run you $4.99 each. Twisted Metal: Black, the 2001 title that took the series in a much darker direction on PlayStation 2 is the third game in the deal, and it’s priced at $7.99.

Of course, if you’re interested in the latest game in the series, you can snag that one for $29.99. If you’d rather get the entire bundle, you can purchase all four games for a grand total of $39.99. The Twisted Metal discount is now going on, and it’ll be active for a week.
