If you’re looking for something, anything to play on your Vita, you may be glad to know that Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, which is also available on the PlayStation 3, is now available to download on the PlayStation Network for Sony’s handheld. The game went live during yesterday’s PlayStation Store update, and it is priced at $9.99.

Rocketbirds managed to fare quite well when it was released for PlayStation 3. The game offers up some cool 2D action gameplay, and graphically, it’s pretty damn nice to look at. Also, badass poultry is, like, an excellent idea.

Sadly, Rocketbirds isn’t being offered as a cross-buy deal. That said, if you already own the PlayStation 3 version, you’ll get 20 percent off the Vita version. It should be noted, however, that this discount isn’t active just yet. In any case, Rocketbirds definitely seems like a great fit on the Vita.
