Capcom, otherwise known as the house of Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil and countless other classic gaming franchises is celebrating its 25th anniversary today. Yes, Capcom is 25 years old! How time flies.
In celebration of the special day, company CEO Kenzou Tsujimoto is sending thanks to all fans and investors who have given support over past two and a half decades. Additionally, a commemorative poster released on Capcom’s official website reveals a couple interesting tidbits, namely that the Clock Tower movie is due out in 2009, while a film based on the demon-slashing Onimusha franchise is slated for a 2011 debut.
