Update: MemorizeME Replay Edition

by Mike Bendel on June 11, 2008 @ 6:42 pm

Update: Following yesterday’s release, Darkchild has provided an additional update that adds a repeat function to MemorizeME. Dubbed “MemorizeME Replay Edition,” the updated release can be found below.

Homebrew developer Darkchild has released an update to his DS homebrew title MemorizeME. The premise of the game is simple. During each round, a square divided in four equal quadrants will appear on the screen and will flash in a random sequence. When this occurs, players must use their DS stylus and reproduce the order in which the squares flashed.

In addition to the usual bug fixes, the update features enhanced difficulty, all-new graphics, and a highscore module. For the complete changelog, hit the jump.

* Fixed a bug in the difficulty settings
* Added Highscore (though Writing it to the FAT gave me some trouble..)
* MemorizeME now uses MP3
* made the music loop!
* made the game a bit harder! :P
* Released source!
* Now using the latest PALib release
* GPL’D
* New graphics <3

I love this game<3

Can you put a pause option in the next release? Or maybe require a button to be pushed to show the next pattern (this I like better)? Sometimes I need to look away, like when I get on the train, and I'll miss the pattern.

well... I'll take care of that then :) Just give me some time :P
