Limited Edition Crisis Core PSP Confirmed For Europe

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe confirmed today that the limited edition Crisis Crisis: Final Fantasy VII themed PSP bundle will hit European territories on June 20.

Set to retail at 189.99 Euro, the bundle includes a copy of Crisis Core and an engraved silver PSP. Look familiar? Yep, this is the same commemorative hardware package that hit Japan last July. Exactly 77,777 units were produced for the Japanese launch and the bundle never made it stateside.

Jap PSP sales are soaring through the roof plus the Final Fantasy series is way more popular in japan I imagine I mean they did have to translate it for USA right?

The last movie advent children probably sold more in japan as well.

Obviously sony knows it would do good over here as well but they probably don't wanna spend large amounts of time/resources on the particular project so they produce a small amount for japan only and it gets them some attention while people heads turn.

Obviously enough the Japanese and whoever else got it(off the internet) would be furious at this news. As far as the announcement indicates, you can expect well over 200,000 of these units to be shipped to Europe and sold.
