Nintendo of Europe Skips Leipzig This Year
by Mike Bendel on May 23, 2008 @ 11:27 am

Nintendo of Europe announced today that it will not be in attendance at the annual Leipzig Games Convention, which kicks off in August 2008. Instead, Nintendo has opted to show off its latest hardware and wares by way of smaller, local events rather than a centralized trade show.
Nintendo Germany manager Bernd Fakesch did note, however, that this announcement in no way rules out the company’s presence at next year’s Leipzig successor, the GamesCOM in Cologne.
