Capcom: Resident Evil 5 Will Hit Before April 2009

According to its latest financial report, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title Resident Evil 5 is slated for a release in Capcom’s 2008 fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2009.
Barring any unforeseen delays, that means the title will hit store shelves before April of next year. Far from a firm date, but hey, at least it’s something.
Aside from a couple brief trailers, details surrounding RE5 are still very much unknown. However, keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll likely hear more about the game during Capcom’s forthcoming pre-E3 media event, CAPTIVATE08, which kicks off next week.
