Rumor: Splinter Cell Conviction Delayed
by Mike Bendel on May 20, 2008 @ 1:37 pm

According to a column in UK-based gaming rag Xbox World 360, Ubisoft Montreal’s stealth-action title Splinter Cell Conviction has been taken back to the drawing board and could now see a release in 2009, or spring 2010 at the latest.
Conviction was first unintentionally revealed by way of a leak last year in September, then later officially unveiled in May.
If true, it’s likely that we’ll hear more during the company’s forthcoming Ubidays media event, which kicks off near the end of this month on May 28.
