WiiFit Delayed, Launches Tomorrow
by Mike Bendel on May 20, 2008 @ 11:30 am

Sure, Wii Fit was available for purchase at the Nintendo World Store in New York yesterday. But everywhere else? It was nowhere to be found! If you don’t live in NY, you’ll be waiting another whole day, as the new official launch date is May 21, according to a Nintendo press release sent out yesterday:
Wii Fit is [now] available exclusively at the Nintendo World store in New York, and will be at retail stores across the country May 21.
Confusing, since Nintendo never said the May 19 release date was specifically for the NWS before. Why the subtle setback? No one really knows, although rumors suggest that late shipments could possible be the reason, which wouldn’t be a first. Either way, you’ll be able to pick Wii Fit up tomorrow.
