Agetec Picks Up PS2 RPG Falling Stars For Stateside Release

Agetec today announced that it has picked up publishing rights to release the currently European-only PlayStation 2 RPG Falling Stars in North America this summer.
Billed as a “fun and adventurous role playing” for kids, the game follows the story of a young girl name Luna, who is on a mission to restore peace to the monster-ridden town of Dazzleon and free her uncle Mark from his possessed state. As Luna, players will battle monsters with their fully customizable pet sidekick and partake in fun mini-games, while uncovering the mysterious evil force surrounding Dazzleon.
Simply judging from reviews on the European release, hardcore fans of the RPG genre need not apply. This isn’t Kingdom Hearts — Falling Stars is aimed solely towards the younger crowd. If you’re still interested, hit the jump for screenshots.
