Killer Is Dead

XSEED Games has quite the lineup of Japanese games set for release in North America. The announcement comes just a day after GungHo Online Entertainment, which has strong connections with XSEED, revealed that it had acquired Grasshopper Manufacture. Killer Is Dead is set to launch this summer on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and it will continue Suda51’s unique brand of action games.

Rumors began circulating on the good ol’ internet that XSEED would publish Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games’ latest after some domain names were registered. When news about GungHo’s acquisition of the studio surfaced yesterday, it was all but confirmed as the publisher has been responsible  for several Japanese games being localized in the North American market.

In addition to Killer Is Dead, Rune Factory 4 will be available for the 3DS this summer, as well. Valhalla Knights will get a Vita release this coming fall. Ys: Memories of Celcetta will launch on the Vita sometime in the fall, too. Lastly, Ys I & II Chronicles+ will be downloadable on Steam starting February. Keep ’em coming, XSEED!
