The father of the PlayStation, otherwise known as Ken Kutaragi, has landed a new job at multimedia firm Kadokawa Group Holdings as outside director. His new position will be secured at a shareholder meeting scheduled to take place on June 22.
The firm said it is aiming to tap into the former Sony exec’s “international business sense,” according to an IGN report.
Interestingly, Enterbrain publisher Famitsu is united under the vast corporate umbrella of KGH. It seems Kutaragi isn’t ready to take leave of the industry just yet.
