Well, this is quite the nice surprise, isn’t it? Sony has announced via the PlayStation Blog that it will be offering three free months of PlayStation Plus to individuals who purchase a one-year subscription.

The offer is already underway, but it’ll only be around for a few months, so be sure to take advantage of Plus if it’s something you’re interested in. Oh, and if you like free PlayStation 3 and Vita games, you might be interested.

You can snag your one-year Plus membership and three free months from now until March 4. If you’re already a member, remember that you can stack subscriptions, so you won’t have to worry about renewing again for a while.
