Just in case you had any doubt, Nintendo has confirmed in a Reuters report that there will not be a Wii or DS price cut this year. Company president Satoru Iwata said it himself during an analyst meeting on Friday:
Our earnings projection for the year is not based on hardware price cuts, and I don’t think we are going to need them.
Yeah, I don’t think so either. Not with operating profits of $4.6 billion dollars, up from 115.6 percent over the last fiscal year.
