French-based publisher Ubisoft today released its full-year sales figures for the fourth fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2008. Overall, yearly sales were up with an increase of 36 percent over the previous year, with the company reporting sales in the amount of 928 million Euro ($1.32 billion). Fourth quarter sales alone rose ten percent to 217 million Euro ($307.70 million) over the prior fiscal year.

Ubisoft attributed the high increase in sales primarily to the better-than-expected performance of numerous software titles, including Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and The Games For Everyone franchise.

The company expects to rake in 1 billion Euro ($1.42 billion) for the duration of fiscal 2008-09.
