A nasty bug has soiled many gamers’ experience with The Walking Dead Episode 4: Around Every Corner on the PlayStation 3. The bug in question apparently causes a corruption issue that has resulted in many individuals losing their save data. Ouch!

“We have received a small number of reports surrounding this issue since the launch of Episode Four: Around Every Corner and have been working with users on our forums to clearly identify a solution which will be resolved as quickly as possible,” Telltale Games told Joystiq.

The developer has stated that players can avoid using the third save slot in the game’s menu as a possible way to stay away from the bug. Other than that, Telltale says that players may want to wait for a patch before playing or continuing the game.

It’s a shame that such a great series is experiencing this dreadful problem. After so many players invested several hours into making decisions and literally molding their adventure, it kind of sucks that a few folks have lost their progress. Here’s hoping a patch isn’t too far off.
