Retro City Rampage launches today on PlayStation 3, Vita, and PC for $14.99. In other words, the day a lot of indie and retro gaming fans have been waiting for has arrived. I know this is certainly a huge day for me, and the game’s launch trailer only served to get me even more stoked.

Developer VBlank Enterainment is really hoping to tug at your nostalgic heartstrings with Retro City Rampage. The game looks like it was pulled right out of the ’80s, offering all sorts of crazy video game references and sweet nods at pop culture.

Retro City Rampage will be available on the PlayStation Network later today, and it’ll support cross-buy and cross-play functionality across the PlayStation 3 and Vita. As far as the PC version is concerned, you can download it on Steam, GOG.com, or from the game’s official website.

Time to wreak havoc across those old school pixelated streets!
