Yet another classic retro series is getting a makeover. The next issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly reckons it has the exclusive on Namco Bandai’s revival of the Splatterhouse franchise.
For the uninitiated, Splatterhouse is a gory side-scrolling beat ‘em up originally released in Japanese arcades back in 1988. From there, a port of the arcade game was released on the TurboGrafx-16 and two sequels were later developed for Sega’s Genesis console.
