Far Cry 3’s ‘High-Performance Spec’ Calls for A Beefy PC Rig

Want to max out Far Cry 3 in all its glory? It appears that you’ll need an ample amount of hardware grunt to do so, as outed in the official PC requirements released by Ubisoft today. Recommended is the latest quad core CPU, a GTX680, and a whopping 8GB RAM to fully crank up all settings. Additionally, the specs reveal that it’ll leverage DX11.

The good news is that Far Cry 3 will scale to lesser setups as well, including those with DX9 graphics cards. More or less expected since it’s a port of a console game, but still welcomed. Without further ado, here’s the full list of required specs:
