Pentavision’s DJMax series has been around for a long time, providing folks with enjoyable music gaming experiences for years. While the series has popped up on the PC, mobile devices, and even at arcades, it’s been a strong Sony platform franchise, with most entries available on the PSP. Now, DJMax will be making its Vita debut with DJMax Technica Tune.

A report on Destructoid indicates that Technica Tune will come in two separate editions. The basic edition will be available through both Amazon and publisher Pentavision. Technica Tune will then be available widely through the PlayStation Network.

If you’re a diehard DJMax fan and have some spending cash on you, though, you may be interested in the limited edition collector’s set. Available through the official Technica Tune site, the limited edition will run you $100, with only 750 copies available for purchase. The set will include Technica Tune, two-disc soundtrack, art book, Vita pouch, game case, screen wipe, and hand strap. Pre-orders for this edition start September 24.

Technica Tune will support touchscreen and touch pad controls, taking advantage of the Vita’s new hardware features. The game will be available in North America on October 26. If you’re a Vita-owning fan of the series, watch out for this next chapter in music gaming.
